Bill, in his current role as head of product marketing for Riverbed Technology - Greater China, focuses on technology evangelism activities that bring customers’ requirements, technology solutions and benefits together. He is a frequently sought after presenter and frequently speaks on the trends of emerging technologies relating to WAN Optimization, WDS and IT consolidation.

Bill is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in computer networking, network security, and telecommunications fields. He has held key positions in a wide spectrum of senior management positions which include engineering, sales & marketing, and business development for companies such as Bay Networks, Ascend Communications, Lucent Technologies, UTStarcom, and Secure Computing in the Asia Pacific region. He has been successful in introducing and adapting leading-edge technology applications into the marketplace and instrumental in helping startup stage companies expand business operations throughout Asia.

Bill holds a Master of Science degree from the California Institute of Technology at Pasadena, California and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Iowa State University.
