The first series of i-Security Seminar featuring a theme of: Simplicity in Integration, dated 19 July 07, sponsored by TippingPoint, Sophos, Tripwire and LANDesk ended with a high note. The first speaker, Tony Teo, Technical Director (ASEAN) of TippingPoint presented an in-depth look at the advantages of IPS-secured network, the simple and obvious solution to DOS attacks and the like that may adversely affect your servers and workstations. The Sophos team: Jim Dowling, Director of Sales (Asia), Andy Woo, Country Manager (Singapore and Malaysia) and Lim Chee Kiong (Technical Manager) outline their brilliantly simple solution that nips network threats at entry points while at the same time, allows better visibility of your entire network. Tripwire's Robert Kidd (Vice President, International Sales, Head of APAC) and Tho Yeong Chien (Technical Manager) discussed on how a complex and challenging task of configuration control for continuous compliance can be simplified! The last speaker- LANDesk's H. Travis Cella, Director of Enterprise Solutions (APAC), shares his knowledge on the management of your network environment.

A total of 95 delegates graced the event and we are encouraged by the positive feedback we have received thus far. Other than rich contents, presenters are innovative in presenting their simplified solutions through a myriad of formats from short video clips, live product demonstrations to the use of multimedia.

The second series will make its debut on 28 August 07 (Tuesday) with a new theme: Foolproof Architecture, brought to you by Nokia, Check Point, Citrix and PGP.
