Once your participation form is
accepted and confirmed, a representative from M.Tech will contact
you to arrange for the TippingPoint IPS Challenge to be held at
your organization
This Challenge is for end users only and it is limited to one
attempt per organization.
Participants are required to sign a temporary equipment loan form
before commencement of the IPS trial at their organizations.
TippingPoint IPS shall be deployed to inspect live data traffic
from a commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP), installed in-line
in front of a network firewall or behind the firewall. The firewall
shall permit the common ports to be open e.g. HTTP, SMTP.
Maximum duration of this Challenge per participating organization
is 5 working days.
TippingPoint IPS deployment and final IPS logs are required to
be checked by a certified TippingPoint engineer.
Confirmation of participation is on a first-come-first-served
basis and is subject to approval by the TippingPoint IPS Challenge
Team.
At the end of the Challenge, the TippingPoint IPS can be retained
and purchased by your organization or returned to M.Tech in good
working condition without any obligation.
TippingPoint and M.Tech reserves the right to change the IPS challenge
without prior notice.
Should participant decide not to proceed with the challenge within
the stipulated 5 days' period, participant will need to bear the
cost of transportation for the IPS equipment (both ways). |
