The regional road show of i.Security Seminar stopped in Philippines on 22 May after Indonesia and Singapore; it will continue on 3 June for Malaysia and 19 June for Thailand subsequently. In order to reduce security risks and potential threats in our Networking environment, a holistic approach is required. Security processes ought to be mapped out of a clear definition of the threats to our system.  Security threats are a result of the various interaction points that an application provides to the external world and the access given to various users who interact with these interfaces. A holistic security model should provide an integrated platform and well-defined processes to leverage and mitigate multiple levels of security to achieve an optimal solution in corporate privacy, integrity, data protection, user identification and authentication as well as Network service protection.
