Course Summary
Nokia’s Intrusion Prevention Solution Training is a three-day instructor-led course, covering the Sourcefire 3D solution, using sensors running on the Nokia IP390 platform.
The class leads to the Nokia IPS exam, which is a required component of the Nokia Security Master certification track.
The Nokia Intrusion Prevention Solution uses a combination of Sourcefire IPS technology and Nokia’s award-winning security platform to provide fast, manageable and flexible intrusion detection and prevention.
In a hands-on lab environment, student will learn how to install, configure and administer the Intrusion Management System components – the Intrusion Sensors, RNA Sensors, and the Defense Center. Students will study and learn to write effecting policies for the system to identify and remediate intrusion events and corporate IT policy non-compliance, and how to generate and manage reports.
